About

Dan’s a Murrow and Emmy Award winning investigative journalist with more than a decade of on-air experience.  He has a passion for telling compelling stories, craves breaking news and thrives on finding new and creative ways to write and present stories.

His investigations have exposed government waste and held the powerful accountable.  As a result of Dan’s investigations, local and state laws have been rewritten, an elected leader was removed from office, and procedures have been changed to protect consumers.

Dan has received a Murrow award and mutliple Emmy awards for uncovering threats to Florida’s drinking water, exposing how much empty government property is costing taxpayers and for revealing a growing gang problem in suburban neighborhoods. He has also received awards ranging from “Best Reporter” from the Associated Press to 1st Place in Government Reporting from the Society of Professional Journalists.

While in college, Dan received his first break in the television news business working with the investigative unit at FOX Detroit.  He used undercover cameras to expose restaurant workers reserving food, to show mold being covered up by contractors and to buy illegal weapons from a metro Detroit gas station that was ultimately shut down by police.

After graduating with honors from the University of Michigan, Dan produced a morning show for WREX-TV in Illinois, worked as a weekend anchor and reporter for WISE-TV/WPTA-TV, reported for WXMI-TV in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was an investigative reporter at WPTV-TV in West Palm Beach.
